LJ icon image search, plus some free icons.

(Edited later to add: I changed the search a bit. It might work better now.)

I found myself wanting one of these, so I made one.

Like it? Link back to artjen. Whee P.R...

Oh and... on a related note, here are some LJ icons you can use if you'd like!

Download a copy of the icon you want to your hard drive, then use this form to upload it to your userpics. In the comments field of the upload form, please put "from <lj user=artjen>" and it should create a link back to me.

Wow, those colors are sooo intense!

Are you still doing the etched pendants? I need to dig up the kanji I want. I NEED to treat myself.

I love using horribly clashing colors. Makes 'em pop more. :D

It's like the exact opposite of what you do with your beautifully delicate work!

Say, have you done any mer-cat paintings? (catfish? Har!)

As for pendants, it'll depend on how complex the kanji is. But at least in theory, I can pull it off. :) Just let me know.

I'll try to get on it today. It's getting close to xmas isn't it? If you think the kanji are too complex I'm sure there's something else I could think of to put of it. Damn, I was thinking of waiting till christmas for my convenience but I forgot to take into account that you might be busy too! If someone gives me anything more to do at this point I think my brain will shred.

I won't know if it's too complex till I see it. ;)

My level of busy-ness is very variable -- feel free to wait or hurry or whatever works for you. That's the one thing you don't need to worry about! Defend that brain!

Hey, here we go! I didn't realize I had a kanji font in my word program. I want one of those pendants with the little wire spiral at the top to hang it from. Here's the kanji:

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

They're fairly complex but the font is very simple so I'm guessing it's appropriate? Let me know. I can send you a larger .jpg if you need it. Do me a favor and send me an email to moussart@gmail.com with billing info. Is paypal ok? I hope so I don't have a credit card.

ps just make sure you don't reverse them by accident - people do that all the time!

Looks doable to me. I wonder if it'll be readable on clear glass, though... maybe I should etch it into a black background? That way the metallic characters will really stand out!

Or you could just wear a clear pendant on dark clothes, either works. Let me know and I'll give it a shot. Don't pay me till I succeed. :D I know what you mean about reversing -- especially since this is a transfer type of process, I have to be careful!

And yeah, Paypal is fine.

Do whatever colors would show up best - I'll leave it to your discretion. Thanks!!!
